"I toured the women’s weaving co-op with G Adventures on 12.27.25. This is honestly a place I was very much looking forward to visiting as I like to contribute to a local community and acquire a nice piece of art or handmade product. This was such an amazing experience and we were so welcomed by the ladies. They gave us a full demonstration of how they clean and dye the products using the traditional methods. Watching them weave was incredible! So intricate! They accept card here but I had issues with my bank with their card reader and wasn’t able to purchase via card and didn’t have enough cash on hand to buy the baby alpaca blanket I had decided on. It was 1000 sol to give you an idea, or roughly 300USD. This may seem like a lot but this is an incredible handmade piece you will find no where else and you are tremendously supporting this community and keeping this part of their culture thriving. Long story short on the bank card issue. They let me go ahead and take the blanket and my tour guide would make sure they received their payment on his return. I hugged them so much for their kindness! The money was promptly returned upon stop at an ATM. I say all that just to say. You may want to bring a fair amount of cash with you if you’re on a tour and cant return to the co-op easily if you have card issues. All that being said. I enjoyed this location very much! They ladies were wonderful, welcoming, and so talented! Please consider stopping here while on your vacation! The products are amazing! :)"

"Here’s a review for Ccaccaccollo Women’s Weaving Cooperative in the Sacred Valley: The Ccaccaccollo Women’s Weaving Cooperative is a wonderful community-run project where visitors can experience authentic Andean textile traditions. The women demonstrate the entire weaving process—from washing alpaca wool with natural soaps, to dyeing it with plants and minerals, to hand-weaving intricate patterns on traditional looms. Watching their skill and creativity in action is both educational and inspiring. The cooperative also provides an opportunity to purchase high-quality handmade textiles directly from the artisans, ensuring fair pay and supporting the local community. Prices reflect the effort and craftsmanship, but the products are authentic, long-lasting, and unique. Beyond the textiles, visiting the cooperative is also about cultural exchange—you get to learn about Quechua traditions, daily life in the Andes, and the importance of preserving ancestral knowledge. Overall, the Ccaccaccollo Women’s Weaving Cooperative is a meaningful stop in the Sacred Valley, offering a mix of culture, history, and community impact."
