Hacienda del Chalán

"J'ai fait une balade d'une journée à Manthanay. Les chevaux semblent bien traités, ce qui est le plus important. L'expérience a été relativement bonne, néanmoins j'ai été déçue car j'espérais que nous pourrions aller dans les plaines et il s'agissait en fait de sentiers de pierres aux alentours du ranch. J'ai ressenti que les chevaux étaient en difficulté pour monter ou descendre les sentiers car ils dérapaient. D'autres excursions sont peut-être différentes. Il serait aussi appréciable d'avoir un rafraîchissement proposé de retour au ranch."

"We took an absolutely beautiful 4 hr private trail ride up into the mountain reserve outside Urubamba. All of the horses were in great shape and the Peruvian Paso gait was smooth - at one point we were trotting and I didn't even know it! Great for a family outing. The owners' daughter (who is a very accomplished young equestrian herself) even came along as a "junior guide" - which our own 10 year old daughter LOVED. Highly recommend as a unique and informative way to see the Urubamba area."

This is a most fascinating horse like no other- the unique gait makes you feel like you’re flying on a magic carpet. It is the smoothest ride you will ever experience. The horses at this stable are incredible- they demonstrate this smooth gait with such perfection. They have obviously been well bred and well trained as I didn’t experience such a beautiful ride at other stables. This experience is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend"
