"Juste wowwww, délicieux, très belle ambiance calme, de la bonne musique de fond. Nos deux assiettes étaient juste incroyable, en voyage depuis 8 mois autour du monde, ça a fait du bien de manger aussi bien, une très belle surprise ici à Pisac !"

"Highly creative and cute little restaurant. We had an unexpectedly good time - almost fine dining vibes for some of the dishes. We had the ceviche (experimental but great), the lake tiradito (amazing!!), and lemon cloud (super - think lemon cest meets crême brûlée). Clearly a hidden jem in the sacred valley."

"In retrospect, we should have paid attention to the little voice in our heads telling us to turn around and leave right after we had entered. The restaurant had a dark and dingy vibe, smelled a bit dank and was completely empty. The prices were well over the top (higher even than a classy place in Cusco) so we ordered the ceviche and trout main (which turned out to be very similar in nature). The fusion effort didn’t quite fly, but the fish was ample and pretty good, aside from the price gauging. The nail in the coffin for this place was the service. The chef/waiter/owner? was on speaker phone for most of our meal, so we had to listen to a combination of the shmaltzy music and his conversation as our dining backdrop. When we finished, he cleared the table and we indicated that we were complete. Instead of bringing the bill, he proceeded to go outside and start another phone conversation in the road. We waited a while, went to the bathroom etc and eventually I had to go out in the road and wave a credit card in his face to get his attention so we could pay and get out of there. He clearly knew he was out of line as he apologized, but the bad taste was already in our mouths. As it was, we spent over 100 soles to have our least favorite dining experience in the Valley. For a restaurant advertising and charging for a fabulous vibe, this is a fail."

"There are moments in life when you realize you’ve stumbled into something rare. Not hyped. Not branded to death. Not trying to impress anyone. Just quietly… devastatingly good. Intimo in Pisac is one of those places. I still don’t understand how a restaurant of this caliber exists in such a small Andean town, tucked away in the Sacred Valley like a secret meant only for those paying attention. This is not “good for Pisac.” This is not “surprisingly good.” This is world-class cuisine, full stop. Chef Alex is a true master of the culinary arts. Not a technician chasing trends. Not a performer plating ego. A craftsman. A listener. Someone who understands food the way musicians understand silence. Every dish that came out of that kitchen carried intention. Balance. Restraint. Confidence. The kind of confidence that doesn’t need explanation. Gourmet, Michelin-level compositions that would hold their own in Paris, Tokyo, or New York… yet somehow feel grounded, warm, and deeply human. And the service… A genuine smile. A warm heart. Presence. You’re not being “served.” You’re being welcomed. What made the experience even more remarkable was the care. My girlfriend and I are currently in ketosis, eating a low-carb, zero-sugar diet. No “we can try.” Chef Alex simply adjusted. Quietly. Masterfully. Modifying dishes with elegance and respect for the integrity of the cuisine. The result was extraordinary. Flavors were rich and clean. Textures thoughtful. Presentation absolutely world-class. Nothing felt like a compromise. Nothing felt “diet.” It felt like a private tasting menu designed just for us. This place is a bit hidden. Reservations are required. And that’s exactly how it should be. Intimo isn’t trying to be found by everyone. It’s a reward for those who wander a little deeper… who trust instinct over Google reviews… who understand that the best meals of your life rarely announce themselves. This is not just a great restaurant. This is a true culinary gem in the Sacred Valley. A destination. A memory that will follow you long after you leave Peru. If you care about food… If you care about craft… If you care about soul… You go to Intimo. No question."

"Het eten is super! Het is fine-dining maar dan in porties a la carte. Je kunt merken dat de chef is opgeleid in sterren-restaurants zoals Central in Lima. Verfijnde smaken, verassende ingrediënten, mooi opgemaakt, heerlijke gerechten en zalige verse drankjes, echt Peruaans. Een aanrader!"
