"Wir haben mit Peru Hike die 7-Seen-Wanderung am Ausangate gemacht. Die Landschaft mit den Gletschern und türkisfarbenen Lagunen ist spektakulär und absolut sehenswert. ​Während die Verpflegung für unseren Geschmack leider nicht überzeugend war, hat unser Guide die Tour absolut gerettet. Er war fantastisch: Seine Erklärungen waren tiefgründig und spannend, er hat uns viel Zeit für Fotos gelassen und war extrem aufmerksam. Als es körperlich fordernd wurde, hat er am Ende sogar einen unserer Rucksäcke getragen – ein unglaublicher Service! ​Besonders dankbar sind wir für die Menschlichkeit und Kulanz des Teams: Da mein Mann nach der anstrengenden Tour gesundheitliche Probleme bekam, mussten wir unsere zweite Tour (Palccoyo) sehr kurzfristig absagen. Peru Hike war extrem verständnisvoll und kam uns bei der Stornierung sehr entgegen. ​Wer Wert auf einen top Guide und fairen, professionellen Kundenservice legt, ist hier genau richtig. "We had the most incredible experience visiting Machu Picchu and walking the Inca Trail as a family, with my husband and our four young children. From the very first moment, our guide traveled with us the entire way, making sure we felt supported and cared for every step of the journey. They scheduled us for 8:00 AM, which was ideal! That morning had been rainy and cloudy, but by the time we arrived, the weather cleared beautifully, giving us breathtaking views and an unforgettable experience. "Terrible experience. The agency showed a complete lack of professionalism: they scheduled our Machu Picchu entry very late, despite our booking being made six months in advance, and placed us in a hotel in appalling condition — dirty, with no water, and clearly neglected (see the photo to judge yourself). We had to move to other hotel! A huge disappointment and total disrespect for their clients. I do not recommend this agency at all. Positive note to the Guide, very kind and professional."

"We did the full-day tour to the 7 Lakes of Ausangate with Peru Hike, and honestly, it was one of the most amazing experiences we’ve had in Peru. From the moment they picked us up at our hotel, everything was perfectly organized. The transportation was punctual, comfortable, and the staff was friendly and professional throughout the entire day. After a few hours on the road, we arrived at the starting point of the hike, where we were offered a warm and hearty breakfast—just what we needed to get ready for the adventure ahead. The scenery was already breathtaking at that point, with towering mountains and fresh air that fills you with energy. We chose to do the route on horseback, and it was the best decision. The trail is long and at a high altitude, so riding allowed us to fully enjoy the views without getting exhausted. The horses were well cared for, and the local horsemen were kind, attentive, and always nearby to assist. The lakes themselves are absolutely stunning. Each one has a different color—turquoise, green, deep blue—surrounded by snow-capped peaks, glaciers, rivers, and incredible high-Andean landscapes. It’s the kind of place that makes you stop in awe every few minutes just to take it all in. We were guided throughout the day by Gilton, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and clearly passionate about the region. He shared with us local legends, history, insights about the Andean communities, wildlife, plants, and how the lakes change with the seasons. He was always making sure we felt good, safe, and were enjoying the journey. At the end of the hike, we were served a delicious lunch, freshly made with local ingredients—perfect to refuel after the trek. We had some time to relax, take in the final views, and then returned to Cusco comfortably. ✨ All in all, it was a magical and unforgettable day—beautiful landscapes, rich culture, amazing food, and a team that truly cares about giving you the best experience. "Unzureichende Kommunikation nach der Buchung endete in einem organisatorischen Desaster für mich. Nach einer Buchungsbestätigung per Mail wurde ich ohne Kommentar wieder aus dem System gelöscht – obwohl mir nach einem telefonischen Austausch bestätigt wurde, dass ich bar zahlen könne, um die Kreditkartengebühr zu umgehen. Die Infos dazu (wann und wo) sollten mir per Mail geschickt werden, diese Mail kam jedoch nie. Auf Nachfrage hieß es plötzlich, ich sei nicht mehr angemeldet, da ich angeblich gegen irgendeine AGB-Klausel verstoßen hätte. Letztendlich buchte ich ohne Probleme bei Machu Picchu Reservations, die günstiger waren und mehr Leistungen boten. Schade um das ganze Organisationschaos. __________________________________ Update zur Antwort des Unternehmens: Die erste Reaktion wurde nachträglich gelöscht. Danach folgten Schuldzuweisungen – und per WhatsApp eine Drohung mit rechtlichen Schritten wegen angeblicher Verleumdung. Wer so mit Kritik umgeht, zeigt, woran es wirklich fehlt: an Professionalität."
