"We took a Beat the Crowd tour to Rainbow Mountain that departed Cusco at 8am. The trip was excellent. It included a very nice early dinner at a swanky restaurant on the way back to town. It was a perfect day and a great value for everything included."

"We did the 8AM Rainbow Mountain tour since every single other tour we could find started at 3/4AM. Leaving at 8AM was an amazing idea, everyone was leaving the mountain and we were the last people there. We had a great lunch/dinner stop at 4pm at a pretty nice restaurant. Alex was an amazing driver and Hector was so kind and knowledgeable, he taught us about the mountain and was so friendly. We booked on getyourguide and it was a very small group! They also gave us a little bag of snacks in the morning!"

"Thank you Peru Private Tours for our trip to Rainbow Mountains! We had a 8:00 trip, and it was a great choice, guys! At some point we were alone at the view point! Our guide Nadia took great care of us, explaining us about altitude, what to do, checking our conditions constantly (5000 meters is no joke!). Location for lunch - amazing, delicious food! The only flow of late departure tour is that the weather may worsen, but it the price for having all breathtaking mountains for yourself, just be prepared clothes-wise. Place definitely worth visiting! Magnificent scenery! Also we have guide for Machu Picchu from them, it was great also!"

"What an amazing day. Very spontaneously we planned a full day tour to Palcoyo Mountain, the so called alternative rainbow mountain. Man, were we lucky. Everything was really professional from the initial contact to getting back to our hotel. We were picked up in the morning at 7am, which is at least two hours later than most (or all) of the other tours start. The effects of this? Additional sleep and we bet the crowds. When we arrived at the place, most other tours already left or were about to leave, so the place felt almost private. Our driver Hugo and our guide Nayda did such a good job. They were always acting professionally and at the same time bringing in their amazing personality, knowledge and humor. We experienced a wonderful day, including pick up at the hotel, snacks in the morning, a great time at the Palcoyo, including a part of the hike with llama and alpaca, a great lunch afterwards and a safe transfer back to the hotel. My full recommendation!!!"

"I had an absolutely stellar time on the full day dyeing and weaving workshop with Peru Private Tours. Our guide, Naida, picked us up from our hotel in Cusco where we met up with one other family to drive to Calca for our workshop. We were greeted by several women from different communities in Peru where we all introduced ourselves (with translation done by our amazing guide, Naida). We then learned about different plants and minerals used for the dyeing process. We walked around area and located plants that were harvested and prepared by the group to use to dye our own wool. We had fresh fruit as a snack (they taught me how to peel and eat a passionfruit!) we also had a home cooked lunch that we shared with the women. We all got to weave our own piece (a choice between a bracelet or a bookmark) and we were each paired up with one of the women who helped us from start to finish. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this rich experience. Naida seemed genuinely happy to be sharing part of the culture with us, and she took TONS of photos and videos for everyone. The women were absolutely amazing (shout out to Ruth, Lucia, Marisol, and the others I sadly can’t remember the names of). I especially appreciated that it didn’t feel rushed or performative. We took our time and spent the whole day here. This was a highlight of our time in Peru and is different from the typical things everyone does. I can’t recommend this tour and company enough!"

"Our recent Rainbow Mountain Tour was nothing short of spectacular. Beyond the stunning scenery, the standout features were our guide Manuel and driver Marko, who elevated the experience. The 4-hour drive was smooth, with a thoughtful pit stop at a restaurant. Manuel's knowledge and passion enriched the trek, providing insights into the culture and ecosystem. Whether hiking or riding, the flexibility in the ascent catered to all preferences. Reaching 5,030 meters was awe-inspiring, with Manuel's commentary adding depth. The exclusive summit experience, thanks to the tour's timing, made it truly unforgettable. Marko's seamless driving ensured comfort, and the return journey included a delightful meal. In essence, the Rainbow Mountain Tour with Manuel and Marko is a must-do, combining meticulous planning, personalized touches, and breathtaking landscapes. This tour is a gem for those seeking a unique and unforgettable Rainbow Mountain adventure."

"Not recommended and be very careful, they can cancel your booking at any time if they think not enough people joining. So if someone is cancelling within 24 hours, your tour might get cancelled too. They will then offer you to pay more money in cash on site (additional 80$ for rainbow mountain) which is a clear ripoff to me."
