"A highlight of our 2+ week trip in South America! Ruben the main guide has been doing this for ~20+ years and was great at explaining all the details of the trip to us. The road to the starting point can get a bit sketchy but the driver (Ron?) did an amazing job at staying alert and keeping us safe on the road. During the rafting Manolo the 2nd guide was in a kayak keeping an eye on us and ready to help if needed. They setup an amazing lunch for us and we had a short break to hike to a hidden waterfall that was a nice surprise. 100% would recommend River Explorers again to anyone looking for a fun adventurous day in Peru!"

"This was one of the highlights of our month long stay in Peru. The river was higher than normal so the company moved us to a safer area. We had a range of physical abilities in our group and they did a fantastic job accommodating us. We were split into two boats to accommodate kids and were also provided a safety guide in a kayak who took photos and videos for us. We safely navigated class III rapids with young children and a senior and were provided a wonderful lunch, with transportation directly from our house. Everything about this trip was awesome. "Had a great time rafting on the Apurimac River for one day with River Explorers. Amazing scenery, lots of fun on the river, guides did a great job steering the raft safely, getting us to the river, and providing lunch. Fantastic day out in some very rugged and quiet country. Rapids were flowing and fun without being excessive. Definitely recommended if you're after some adventure and something different to do in the Cuzco area."

"Highly recommend! I did the 1-day Black Canyon Rafting trip today and it was awesome. I had never rafted before, but it was the right mix of challenge and fun. "We did a rafting trip on the lower Ampurimac with Rubin, Manolo, Ronald and Freud on June 26-28. It happened to be just two of us as customers which made for a close-knit group. Our guides were safe, fun and informative, making us feel welcome at all times. The scenery along the river was pristine and remote. The Rapids were high energy and non-stop. The food they made was delicious and the campsites we're beautiful. We definitely had a very memorable trip and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable Adventure in the Peruvian back country with a great crew."
