"Unbelievable experience. We came without prior reservation only to discover that you are supposed to make a reservation in advance (the restaurant focuses on experiences and events). However, the chef and the personnel were still there after some event, and they were very happy to invite us for a lunch. The chef checked what they could serve us and offered us a lunch menu that was, on the surface, relatively simple, but ended up being unbeliavably delicious. Their causa was easily the best causa I’ve had in all of Peru. And the chef stayed with us for the better part of our meal, telling us about the space, the historical importance of the place it is located in, effectively giving us a little crash course into the Inca history and culture of the Sacred Valley. To top it all off, they didn’t bill us for the meal and simply suggested we leave a voluntary tip, which left us simply speechless. My girlfriend left teared up from how wonderful the treatment was and how welcoming all of the people in the restaurant were despite the circumstances. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a unique gastronomic experience that merges culture, history and gastronomy"

"Unu Landscape to Gastronomy restaurant Is a culinary must stop when near Maras. A short, very worthwhile drive from Cuzco. The food was all local, prepared to give the diners a true taste of Peruvian cuisine. Our host Erika welcomed us with the customary local drink while we were still outside enjoying the extraordinary view! Once inside the 5-star hospitality from the owner / chef and all staff continued. Our family style feast started with a “soup pouring “ that after 6 other local dishes, eventually was followed by the delightful salted trout service!!! A meal not to be missed , certainly the most tender and delicious fish you will ever enjoy. Unu treats your meal like art, and the favour a masterpiece to be savoured!"
