"Just completed the Classic 4-days Inca Trail with View Peru. Our guide Sebestian is knowledgeable in history, culture, plants and birds. It is more than a trek but an experience in all Peru’s history, culture and nature can offer. The gourmet food along the way prepared by Chef Zenon was fantastic and our massage therapist Iade really soothe our aching muscles at the end of the day with her healing hands. Our young Assistant Tour Guide Eber was also super helpful. All in all, it has been a very rewarding experience for my wife and me. "Our Supreme Luxury Inca Trail to Machu Picchu trip booked through The View Signature Travel with our talented guide Tomas and our 2 assistant guides, Yhon, and Henry was spectacular! The depth of knowledge of the flora, birds, history, and Andean culture was such a gift. My husband and I were overwhelmed by the care and attention that our entire team provided for our journey. The hike is difficult, but perfectly orchestrated with breaks and "lessons." All three of our guides picked up on my love of birds and flowers and my husbands interest in the architectural details of the Incan ruins and went above and beyond expecations to call birds and explain things in detail. We were encouraged and taken care of through out the journey. Honestly, I am a hiker, but this was a true challenge and the tips we received along the trail made it possible to complete the trek! The food! The meals along the trail deserve an entire review! It is absolutely amazing what the team is able to do along this rugged 26 mile trail! Nemesio and Fabian created exquisite 3 course meals that were varied and unique! The flavors were wonderful and we all enjoyed every meal. Our waiter Mauro was so friendly and helpful - the three of them delighted us with their talent! We even had a fully decorated baked cake! I have no idea how they did it! When you first read about "Supreme Luxury," it sounds wonderful! Then you get out there on the trail and realize how remote you truly are and the comforts we are accustomed to living with on a daily basis like running water, flushing toilets, electricity, heat, and lights are no longer available. However, your team of Angels (porters) manage to bring Supreme Luxury into each campsite. It is absolutely remarkable. You arrive tired and weary to cheers and joyful faces encouraging you and welcoming you to your home for the night. Such care went into making everything perfect for our arrival and we felt like we really were welcomed home by family. Hilario and our lead porter Anastacio seemed to be anxiously awaiting our return to the family at each site and genuinely please that we made it safely to camp!! My husband and I were so grateful for all the people that were there simply to help create this experience for us!! Our massage therapist, Marianela was so skilled. After the second day (the "hardest" day) we arrived exhausted, weary, and wet to our campsite. The temperature dropped and the rain was relentless - but Mari was ready and provided deep tissue massage and such a calming and recentering atmosphere that we were actually able to relax and release some of the stress from a long day of hiking. She even found a way to dry my bedding that was soggy from a tent mishap! You will learn a great deal about the culture and the people as you walk the trail. Our guide, Tomas was a fanstaic teacher and spoke with great enthusiasm and passion about his own experiences, history, culture and the trail. His passion was contagious! Constantino and Santiago gave us a meanful presentation at dinner one night explaining indigenous traditions. We learned some words in Quechua and learned a great deal about the Incas and their civilization. The Quechua people are the decendants of the Inca Empire and we loved learning from our guides and our team about their traditions. Our hearts were overwelmed by their love of our Mother Earth and their deep pride for their culture, country, and history. Matt and I recommend The View Peru - Signuture Travels 100% We had the best sites at each camp site, the best food, the most care and our 3 guides were the best you can imagine. There is no room for improvement. Absolute perfection from each and evey person on the team. We are so thankful that we were able to experience Peru with all these wonderful and dedicated people."
