"Los tours en bici que ofrece Alternative Bike Perú son increíbles! Hice un tour con Alberto quien fue un guía estupendo. La ruta que hicimos duró más o menos 4 horas y fue una combinación perfecta de ciudad y montaña. Empezamos el tour explorando el sur de Cusco. Después subimos en coche para llegar más arriba, hasta Huayllarcocha. Aquí empezó mi parte favorita de la ruta: una bajada por campos de papas, colimas verdes, pueblos pequeños, y paisajes impresionantes. Andar en bici en la altura de Cusco suena de locos, pero no lo es. Para mí, un ciclista de Holanda que no se acostumbró a andar en bici por las montañas, fue muy posible y lo disfruté al cien. Había un par de subidas más retadores, pero son pocas y también puedes subir caminando. Además, el tour no es nada competitivo. Puedes tomar fotos y pausar cuando quieras. Durante estas pausas Alberto me contó sobre la historia de Perú, así que aprendí mucho. Con un guía tan simpático como Alberto, las horas pasan volando. Si tienes dos hasta cuatro horas libres en Cusco y buscas una actividad activa, inolvidable e impresionante, recomiendo 100% reservar un tour con Alternative Bike Perú! Para mí, el tour en bici fue el que convirtió mi estancia en Cusco en una estancia fantástica."

I had a busy schedule in Cusco with limited time to go cycling (only two hours) and Mary facilitated for me to do a tailored two hours cycle in and around Cusco with Alberto who was awesome, so warm and fun and so insightful about everything cycling and Cusco an beyond. "Me and my wife booked a bike tour through the sacred valley during the rainy season in Peru. We had the best luck with the weather during our whole trip. The tour and the guides were both amazing!! The distance of the tour was approximately 48km. Although the distance was kind of long for us the amount of climbing was very minimal. Surprisingly the ride was mostly flat and not very technical. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys riding bikes in new places! We hope to return to Cusco in the future and would love to take our kids on this ride! Thank you for such a memorable experience!!!"
