El Balcón Cusco Hotel

"アルマス広場から10分くらい歩いたところにあるホテル🏨 アルマス広場からホテルまでは階段を登っていく感じだったのでキャリーバックで行くと少し大変かも、荷物多いならタクシーで行くと良いかもしれないですね🚕 ホテル自体はフロントの対応も良く、レストランも美味しい、客室も清潔で落ち着いた雰囲気で不満はありませんでした🤭 朝食では着席するとパンケーキ、スクランブルエッグ、オムレツなど出来立て料理のオプションを選べるのですが宿泊料に既に含まれているとのことです☕ シャワーも直ぐに温まるし、ドライヤーも付いています。 ランドリー設備はありませんでしたがランドリーサービスはありました👍 夫婦3日分の着替え、2.5キロで10US$でした！（相場が分からないけど😂） 中庭が素敵でバルコニーのソファーに座ってコカ茶を飲む時間にとても癒されました👍 総合的に見るととてもいい宿でまた来たいなと思いました☺️"

"We booked a stay in April almost four months ago — I happened to see a review saying they were closed for renovations. We reached out to the hotel on multiple platforms and didn’t hear back. They finally responded on WhatsApp to tell us they were closed. We had to book another hotel two weeks out, and I guess they were never going to tell us? I sympathize that renovations take longer than expected but an email or WhatsApp message earlier would have made a big difference."

"I had booked 3 reservations with this hotel back in June 2025, all for April 2026. Over the past few weeks I sent them 3 separate emails, two messages through their website and a WhatsApp asking them to please confirm my reservations. I could see on their website that they had allegedly been “closed for renovations” for about the past 5 months but it said they were planning to re-open April 1. I never received a reply to any of those 6 requests. Finally because I was out of options, I asked my local tour provider to call them to help me confirm. The tour operator emailed back saying they had spoken to someone at El Balcon who said that they “were not operating”! To say I as flabbergasted is an understatement. El Balcon cared so little about me as a customer that there were going to allow me to show up on their front door on the night of April 12 and tell me that they were not open!!! (Assuming someone would have even BEEN there to say that). This is just beyond unethical. I ended having to make last minute reservations at another Cusco hotel that will end up costing me $2000 more! Whether or not they re-open in April of not, I strongly encourage anyone thinking about booking here to not do so! You may end up being left high and dry like I would have been had I not asked my tour provider to call them. Shame on you, El Balcon!"

"A charming colonial-style hotel in a great spot. It’s an easy walk to the main square and nearby restaurants, yet far enough removed to feel calm and quiet. The inner courtyard garden is beautiful, and the balcony was a lovely place to sit and take in views of the city. The room was peaceful, the bed was comfortable, and a heater was provided for cooler nights. The shower took a moment to warm up, but the water pressure was excellent and the temperature was perfect once it did. Breakfast was a real highlight, with freshly prepared hot dishes alongside fruit, coffee, and tea. Laundry service was available on site and very convenient, though there were other options nearby as well. The staff were incredibly kind and eager to help with anything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Excelente para descansar desconectado de todo, el servicio de la cocina es el mejor la chef es un amor y el personal que trabaja con ella también, comimos delicioso! Su desayuno es súper variado, ellos mismos preparando sus productos, recomiendo si o si pedir algo más de la carta."

"Erstens kann ich die positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Es ist kein Hotel, höchstens ein einfaches Hostel. Vor allem ist es dort wahnsinnig kalt, in den Zimmern und dem Speisezimmer. Es ist alles offen und man muss viel hochsteigen. Die Balkone sind ganz nett, aber die Zimmer so was von einfach, sauber ist es und die Angestellten bemüht. Wir haben am nächsten Tag ein besseren Hotel gebucht. Das gezahlte Geld bekam man natürlich nicht zurück, war mir egal, nur weg von dort."

"El hostal es muy bonito, con una ubicación excelente y comida deliciosa (las sopas son especialmente buenas). El personal del restaurante y limpieza fue siempre amable y atento, lo que hizo nuestra estadía muy agradable. Sin embargo, tuvimos una mala experiencia con la recepcionista del turno de la noche, que desde el primer día tuvo una actitud poco paciente y algo despectiva. Pensamos que sería algo puntual, pero se mantuvo durante toda la semana. Una vez que evitamos interactuar con ella, todo fluyó mejor. Si mejoran la atención en recepción por las noches, la experiencia sería verdaderamente excelente."
