"We just finished a Luxury Gold tour to Macchu Picchu with Evolution. Our guides, Jacque and Isa were lovely and took very good care of us. The food was phenomenal and the porters made sure we were very comfortable, even providing hot showers in the wilderness! The trek is challenging but the views are incredible. Would recommend."

"Marco, Guillemo, Santos and our wonderful team of porters were incredible. They were attentive, caring, and made our multi day trek an unforgettable experience. Hiking along the Inka trail is no easy feat, and the strenuous and hard work that our amazing guide, chefs, and Porters go through to ensure we had a comfortable experience deserves all the recognition and resources to also make sure they are comfortable and safe. I appreciated seeing that Evolution provide proper gear like updated backpacks and hiking boots, whereas, other companies had outdated packs and did not seem to invest in Porter well-being. The presence of porters who are women in an historically male dominated male space also stood out to me. While there is still more to go to provide better working conditions, higher pay, and equal opportunity despite gender and age, Evolution is paving the way for the well-being of staff who make our once in a lifetime experience possible."

The porters were very well equipped and organized, and we especially appreciated that there were also female porters on the team. The food throughout all four days was absolutely amazing. "mucho magnificent wow wow! great trek crew. the chef guillermo and assistant chef santos was great and prepared amazing tasting food for our 4 days, 3 night inca trek. the porters were so amazing and i truly was grateful for their hard work, i can’t imagine carrying that much up and down the hills on this inca trail. the porters definitely do not receive the credit they should. they were so sweet from waking us up and serving us coffee or tea tent side to making sure we had napkins folded like cranes at each meal, they never skipped a beat from hard labor to making us feel like queens and kings. loved their mission of helping the Andes people, especially women, who are usually not employed. one of the female porters dominga weaved cute keychains and we were more than happy to purchase to help support her. the younger female porter, rosa, was so sweet. the tour guide marco was great, very funny and knowledgeable of the history to provide some depth past these amazing views of the inka trek and machu picchu."

"Wir hatten eine sehr aufregende Zeit auf dem Inka Tail. Wir wurden sehr gut umsorgt von den Portern und auch von den Köchen Guillermo und seinem Assistenten. Die Porter werden bei Evolution Treks Peru sehr gut ausgestattet mit Rucksäcken und Wanderschuhen, das ist nicht unbedingt die Regel auf dem Trail. Wir hatten sogar zwei Porterinnen (Dominga und Rosita) in dem Team, die ebenfalls viel getragen haben. Unser Tourguide Marco hatte eine sehr gute und witzige Energie, hat uns gut durch den Trail gebracht. Ein riesigen Dank an die Porter!"

"It was an incredible once in a lifetime 4 days trip from Kilometer 82 to the outstanding archeological Inca site Machu Picchu. We had a fantastic group of people and a wonderful guide Marco, who has an endless positive and motivating attitude. Really made us laugh a lot! Especially I want to mention the fantastic food that was provided by Guillermo and his team in those special and difficult circumstances. Each and everyone of the porters were equipped with good shoes and professional backpacks. We saw a lot of other companies porters that were overloaded and in bad conditions, but not Guillermo‘s team! Rosita and Dominga really stood out, because they were so handsome women, supporting us with their incredible abilities. We even got a little handmade souvenir by Dominga for our memory to this beautiful trip."

"Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und aufregende Zeit auf dem Inka Trail. Das Porter- / Koch-Team um Guillermo hat wirklich einen super Job geleistet. Das Essen war fantastisch und immer mehr als ausreichend. Die Porter werden von der Firma sehr gut ausgestattet. Sie erhalten gute Rucksäcke, um die schweren Lasten zu tragen. Das ist auf dem Trail nicht der Standard. Wenn man die Porter auf dem Weg sieht, versteht man, wie wichtig gute Ausrüstung ist. Zwei Frauen (Dominga & Rosita) waren ebenfalls im Porter Team. Sie haben schwere Lasten getragen und uns bei allem unterstützt. Marco unser Guide war klasse. Danke!!!"

"My partner and I did the 4 day Inca trail with evolution Trek and it was incredible. The quality of the food we had was insane especially as we were camping but even in a restaurant would be superb, thanks to our chef Abraham. Our guides Margot and Sara were very kind and knowledgable, always ready to help with questions and requests. They were so energetic getting us going during our trek. With Sara sharing her knowledgable of the Incan history and Margot with her knowledge of plants and flowers they had the perfect balance. They were passionate about their work and it was evident they loved what they were doing. Pancho’s porters team took care of us extremely well - having our tents ready when we arrive and getting us coco tea in the morning even as early as 3am. These guys made our experience incredible. "We had the most unbelievable trek with Sara and Margot. They were incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and professional while simultaneously making our trek so much fun! Chef Abraham spoiled us daily with incredible meals and even accommodated dietary restrictions, and tge Pancho Porter team cheered on daily with such positive energy and even helped me carry some of my items as I was having back pain following the second day of our trek. I couldn’t recommend Evolution Treks Peru more. Please book the trip with them and have an experience of a lifetime!"

"If 10 stars were possible I would give 12. I can’t say enough about this company and the group of guides, porters, and cooks we trekked with! Our guides Sara and Margot shared an immense amount of knowledge of Incan culture and the diverse environments we hiked through. They spoke multiple languages and exercised incredible patience during our four days together. Our boss Porter Pancho brought wonderful energy and a high five every time we arrived at camps. And the food - Chef Abraham served restaurant quality food for every meal! If you are trekking the Inca Trail Evolution is a must."
