"After researching extensively, I chose a Peruvian travel company to guide our Sacred Valley adventure for my husband and I. We booked a full day beginning with Maras and Moray, Ollantaytambo, lunch and Pisac. From beginning to end, our guide Carlos made the day extra special. He is knowledgeable, engaging and genuinely passionate about providing a top quality one of a kind experience. Both Carlos and our driver Percy were flexible to our travel style and together we opted for a final destination of Chinchero, which was a cultural highlight for us - meeting local artists and learning about the vibrant colours and wool dying processes. Nicole, our agent was readily available and attentive, ensuring everything was perfectly organized and ran smoothly. The day was a true highlight of our time in this special, sacred place. "Hoy completé el tour a Salkantay de 4 días con Sam Travel. Todo del tour estuvo por encima de mis expectativas, la gente, la comida, los domos y principalmente los paisajes. Resalto el trabajo de Giorgio que fue nuestro guia y se esmeró en enseñarnos todo sobre Peru y su hermosa cultura, nos cuidó cada día y fue un fotógrafo de primera, asegurándose que nos volvemos con recuerdos únicos a nuestra casa. "Two of us did the 2 days Lares trek + 1 day Inca Trail, with a tour of Machu Picchu. We were blown away by the friendliness, knowledge, and kindness showed by both of our guides - Jorge and Carlos. We booked a group tour, but this ended up being just the two of us for the Lares Trek and just one other person for the Inca Trail, who was very well matched with us. Both tours were wonderful. On the Lares Trek the scenery, food, and information provided by our guide was truly outstanding. Jorge tailored the trip to our preferences and was happy to answer 1000 questions. For reasons outside of his control like road closures we arrived late at one stop, but our experience with Jorge more than made up for this. He constantly checked on us, boosted morale, shared his expansive knowledge about the Incans and was truly a delight. We were very lucky to then be paired with Carlos for the Inca Trail portion of the trip. We were convinced he could control the clouds as he timed our arrival to the Sun Gate perfectly before the rain started. Carlos was incredibly knowledgable, set a great pace for our group and went above and beyond for the three of us. He shared his expansive knowledge of the Incans, never set a foot wrong and made sure we all had a great time on the trek, and during our tour. Both guides made the trip incredible, and we’d recommend them in a heartbeat."

"Hemos hecho la Ruta Salkantay hace un par de días y no podríamos estar más satisfechos con la elección de la agencia. Coordinarlo todo desde España fue extremadamente fácil por whatsapp. Una vez en la ruta hemos tenido una guía maravillosa: Maribel. Una mujer muy preparada, que conoce perfectamente la ruta y sabe mucho de fauna y de flora. Muy risueña y amable en todo momento. Además se ofrecía constantemente a hacernos fotos 😍. El resto del equipo que nos ha acompañado han sido Luís Alberto (un estupendo chef: comida rica, sana, equilibrada y en gran cantidad, un verdadero chef! Y además con una bella sonrisa siempre), Celso (el ayudante del chef y mesero particular: un hombre entrañable, de pocas palabras y mirada expresiva, siempre bien dispuesto) y John, el arriero que nos ayudó a todos, siempre con una sonrisa. Los alojamientos estupendos. Las dos primeras noches en unos preciosos nuevos domos, con baño completo y ducha caliente en el interior, un lujo!! La tercera noche muy agradable y la cuarta en un hotel de Aguascalientes estupendo. La gestión de los tickets y horarios para Machupicchu perfecta. Gracias por todo!"

"Hicimos la ruta de Salkantay 5 días. Todo perfecto. Los alojamientos muchísimo mejor de lo que figura en la web. Tuvimos dos noches con domos con baño privado y una tercera noche en un lodge con una habitación también con baño. La última noche en un hotel muy correcto en Aguascalientes. Tuvimos como guía a Maribel, una chica simpática, muy conocedora del terreno, dominaba, perfectamente los tiempos. Siempre atenta a las necesidades que teníamos. Nos hizo mil fotos. Luis Alberto fue el cocinero y Celso su ayudante. La comida muy buena y enriquecedora, muchísima cantidad. John fue el arriero que nos llevó nuestras mochilas en las mulas y también ayudaba a los cocineros. Nos incluyeron el transfer desde el aeropuerto y también a la salida. La verdad es que todo fue perfecto y la ruta es impresionante. La única malo es que pensaban regalarnos unas camisetas con el itinerario de las rutas alcantay y no tenían disponibles."

"What a trip! Thankful for the memorable adventure - can't express enough gratitude for all of those who helped put this together. Our tour guide Joaquin made sure that my friends and I got to see the best of the Salkantay trail. Joaquin's attention to detail and kindness was displayed throughout -- from the pre-trip meeting, while hiking up mountains, and during his historical overview of Machu Picchu on our last day together. We were fueled by amazing food from Chef Francisco and his Assistant Chef, Roger. They prepared a true Peruvian cuisine that became something I looked forward to each mealtime and helped us get through the challenging (but fun) hikes. "We did the 2 day Inca trail to Machu Picchu. Our guide was Ray and Michael. It was really great - Ray was amazing and was really passionate about the place and told us loads of amazing stories. We had the perfect weather and even the packed lunch was delicious. Ray helped me sort a personalised birthday cake for my boyfriend on short notice which was really kind of him and made my boyfriends 25th really special. It didn’t feel like a job to them, they made it feel like they were enjoying the experience as much as us and really went above and beyond! I would highly recommend this tour - I can’t fault it at all!!"
